After the Spanish regime the take over the Philippines which played a big role in the constitutional reform in the country the fact that they also helped in ending the Japanese era in the country. They also played a big part in the products that is imported in the country and also when it comes to fashion the Americans also brought more transformation by introducing jeans and other fashion statements from the United States. The Muslim Brothers

We all know before the Spaniards colonized our country in the mid 1500's our country the Philippines is a land of Moros because the Arabs first came in the Philippines in the 1200's which is a very long time ago. Whether you are from Luzon, Visayas or Mindanao before evangelization but in the present day the largest number of Muslims are in Mindanao. The Katutubos

In the Philippines where more than 100 indigenous groups lives throughout the country in which rich culture is there to give a nostalgia of what the Philippines look like back in the day where there is no cellphones, cars and high-tech objects yet. The life is simple yet fulfilling the world had less pressure and the word stress is not yet invented. There are different indigenous groups living in the Philippines too many to enumerate but here are one of the most notable indigenous group in the Philippines the "Ifugaos". Ifugaos live in the Mountain Province and they sculpted the famous Banawe Rice Terraces a former wonder of the world. So here are some of the pictures of Ifugaos back in the day.

Different Products Sold in the Philippines Back in the Day

In the Spanish era where cellphones, high-end gadgets and even cars are not sold in the market in our present day. Life before was simple literally because products that are sold are merely for the needs of people and not for their necessity. Because nowadays people buy more goods which they want but they primarily they do not need which is not healthy. So I am here to give you a glimpse of what the Filipinos back in the day are selling in the market and in the streets.

The Real Maria Clara

We all know that Maria Clara was a figure in Dr. Jose Rizal's Novel Noli Me Tangere (Touch Me Not) and El Filibusterismo (The Rebel) which are written by him during the Spanish colonization in the Philippines to wake the sleeping hearts of patriotism of the Filipinos during that time he was also the national hero of the Philippines until this present day. To give you a brief story about Maria Clara she is the love interest of Crisostomo Ibarra in Noli Me Tangere which he changed his name to Simoun in the later book that is released after the Noli Me Tangere which is El Filibusterismo which is obviously Leonor Rivera in real life this photo was undated but if we will base the quality of the photo was taken on the timeline which is the late 1880's. Although Rizal had many love affairs with different women it is said that Leonor Rivera was the apple of the eyes of Dr. Jose Rizal until his death.

Native Police

In a world where guns and bombs are the primary weapon of the police and the military to protect their dominions there was also a time a hundred years beforehand that the police carries a sword instead of guns because there is no guns that is handy before for the reason that it was not yet invented till the early 1910's. We all know that almost 90% of the people living in the Philippines is a Catholic that is why there are many beautiful cathedrals that is built in the Philippines particularly in the Spanish era and most of them are still existing despite of the natural calamities that has been present throughout the years like earthquakes, storms and last but not the least its age.Here are some of the photos of the cathedrals and churches during the Spanish era and American era.
