Figure 1(EDSA Late 1950's- Early 1960's)

Every been dreaming of a highway which is not surrounded by a high load of vehicles every now and then? If your answer is yes try to visit EDSA back in  the 1950's the traffic was so smooth that there is not too much vehicles on the road, it was also clean with no billboards yet maybe it has but just a little in order for the drivers not to be distracted by the images on it like today many of the billboards in the Philippines are in EDSA in which most of them depicts pictures of hot women and men that can put the driver's attention from its steering wheel. And also many of the cars back then are made of large engines like v8 just like the vintage chevrolet on the left part of the picture (figure 1) which consumes a lot of gas but its not a problem before because the price of the petroleum products a half-century ago is  not that high just like today which only the rich people can only afford to drive cars with large engines.

Figure 2 (EDSA present day)

Here is what EDSA exactly looks like in the present day there is a huge amount of traffic every day from time to time the cars are almost bumper to bumper not even on rush hours. So see the difference?
